MrDskool is an AI-powered educational platform for children aged 2 to 13, operated by an individual developer based in Canada. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This policy applies to all users of mrdskool.com.
We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service. For parents and coaches: your email address and a password (stored encrypted). For children: a nickname chosen by the parent, an age or age group, and a selected learning mode. We also collect session activity data including which subjects were used, session duration, and learning milestones reached. We do not collect children's real names, photos, location, device identifiers, or conversation transcripts.
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the MrDskool service, send weekly progress reports to parents, and communicate important updates. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell your data to any third party, and we do not share your information with any third party except as required by law.
MrDskool is designed for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents create accounts and add children using only a nickname and age group â - no identifying information about the child is required or stored. Parents may request deletion of their account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@mrdskool.com. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children directly without verifiable parental consent.
As a Canadian-based service, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@mrdskool.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including the right to data portability, the right to erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We store all data on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean in Canada. Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. We do not store AI conversation history beyond the active session.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data including children, sessions, and progress records is permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@mrdskool.com.
MrDskool uses the following third-party services to operate: Anthropic Claude API for AI responses, OpenAI for text-to-speech, DigitalOcean for hosting, and Google for email delivery. Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We do not share your personal information with these services beyond what is necessary to provide the MrDskool service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any significant changes by email. Continued use of MrDskool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
